If only I had the guts and more importantly, the skills required to modify a Mac (or do anything out of the ordinary really), I would have been at least a 100k YouTube hits more popular than I am now. The latest in tube-town is a sexy MacBook Apple Logo mod where the white glowing logo has been replaced with a fully functional secondary display that’s capable of displaying just about anything.
The maker of the mod plans on posting tutorials and even offering this piece up for sale. Now before you say anything, we’re all aware that it’s a pretty useless mod, and will only reduce your battery life in the bargain. But you can’t ignore the fact that you can easily distract lecturers/passers by/the President just by firing up the iTunes visualizer.
