I can confirm that turning off drag makes the single click tap very responsive. I like this thing a lot, it's nice to have the pen in your hand and switch over to touch really quickly.

I'm not a pro designer by any means, but it's nice and it has replaced my mouse on my desktop.

For click and drag, you can use the 'tap left' for click and then drag with one or two fingers.

Hi I bought the bamboo touch and am enjoying it, I imagine buying a seperate pen and using that would not work? I'd have to buy the pen and touch rather than just "upgrading" my touch?

Thanks, and great review, all very fair points.

This is my second week of using my Bamboo Pen & Touch. I have to say that the first few days were frustrating as I kept accidentally clicking on things and inadvertently dragging & dropping things. After reading this article and some of the feedbacks, I decided to turn off the following:
- tap with one finger
- tap with two fingers

Once I did that, the accidental clicking is gone. Yes, it takes a few minutes to remember to get use to intentionally add touch to left or right for left and right click accordingly. I am happy with the result and get a sense of control of the touch pad now.

The difference between the "bamboo pen" and the "pen & touch" are the pressurelevels:

http://www.wacom.eu/index2.asp?pid=294&lang=uk&spid=16

wouldn't it make sense to opt for the "pen & touch" and disable the touch functionality, just to have more the pressure levels...?

Well I've sent the tablet back to Wacom, so I can't confirm whether your tip works. Hope it does.

Regarding the slow tap response, try turning off "Drag" in the bamboo control panel. That actually solved this for me, and the tablet is now quite nice (:
