Divvy shows a grid on the screen where you can select boxes to indicate how you want the window to fill your screen. Another solution is Breeze ($8) by Autumn Apps ([autumnapps.com]) which allows you to save window states and restore them like a template to another window. This one does address one of the issues I have been facing on Mac OS X since switching. Pathetic windows organisation! Yup, first they dont have cut-paste and drag-drop is made even more irksome by lack of 'tiling windows' feature. Ahah!
