Let me start by saying this is an amazing deal.
While bundles usually encompass a wide variety of apps so that everyone can find something they like, MacGraPhoto is a bundle consisting of graphics apps and only graphics apps. Squarely aimed at web developers, photographers, and all-round doodlers, the bundle consists of 7 apps for $40; which is a mighty good way to stock up your Mac with software.
The list includes:
- Picturesque
Allows you to quickly add effects for your graphics. Things like reflections, drop shadows, and 3D perspectives are just a click away. If you’re constantly polishing images for the web, this is the app to have. - ImageFramer
Quickly add frames and watermarks to your images. - GraphicConverter
Batch image processing, for converting, watermarking, and organising your images. I’ve used it only in passing, but it’s good at what it does. - Funtastic Photos
Another effects engine, Funtastic Photos allows you to add borders, frames, and general photographic effects to your images for sending across to family or your facebook friends. - Graphic Designer Toolbox
Never used this app, so I’m just quoting, “GraphicDesignerToolbox is a new powerful alternative graphics editor targeted towards professional web designers and artists. It’s concept is very different from other editors – it’s all about using and combining building blocks for bitmap and vector manipulation. ” - Drawit
A vector drawing app for the Mac, from the creator of Fontcase. It’s nowhere near as powerful as Illustrator, but is well equipped for smaller projects like logo design and button graphics. - HowdaGeo
Geotag your images.
Oh, and that’s not all. They’ve also got specific discounts for other apps as well. Pixelmator, Sandvox, Fontcase, iCollage, and Cashculator all get a 50% off the original price. I’d highly recommend you at least grab Pixelmator and Fontcase while you can!
[tweetmeme] So if you’re planning on creating some dazzling graphics for sending out christmas greetings or whatever else, pretty sure MacGraPhoto is good software for a great price. And I’m not just saying this because there’s an affiliate link somewhere in this post.

One more handy thing (and there are quite a few) about GraphicConverter is its ability to open unopenable or corrupt image files. I’ve had more images than I can count be totally unusable by Photoshop but GC most of the time can pop them right open, even by skipping the corrupted bits so you still get most of the image intact. It’s been around 15+ for a reason.
