Well actually I was thinking of more like 'alternative', than 'duplicate'. I don't think Photoshop's interface is anything good, and was decidedly looking for something better. Photoline (ignoring the fact that it is a Cross platform app) is something that's worse than Photoshop, and definitely not an alternative. If that was the case, Gimp would have easily fit right in. Ugly interface et al.

I guess those looking for a 'cheap photoshop', will find it in PhotoLine. Thanks for bringing it to my notice though, as I had never heard of it before.

Actually the closest thing I've seen to a genuine Photoshop alternative is the decidedly unsexy Photoline (http://pl32.com). Unlike Iris, Acorn, Pixelmator, et al, it has proper bezier layers, proper selection tools, proper text support, layer effects, and so on. Its interface is often frustrating (mainly because it's literally Photoshop's German UI translated into English, so various things are named differently from Photoshop for no readily apparent reason), it has an embarrassingly ugly icon, and its menus are badly organized (but then, so are Photoshop's -- I'm just more used to them).
