7th July was the magical day the App Store opened its doors. I remember I downloaded Twitterrific and Evernote as soon as I could get in. The App Store has since distributed over a billion copies of over 50,000 apps, and is growing at an incredible pace.

Apple has put up a special section on the iTunes Store, celebrating the store’s 1st birthday. They’ve put up a small selection of apps and games, almost like an after thought including popular apps like Brushes, Instapaper, Tweetie, Facebook, as well as rounded up some games like Rolando, Touchgrind, and a few more.

So now that we’re here a year later, which is the killer app on your iPhone?
