I've been comparing the Pre to the 3GS and the voice + data plans on Sprint are far cheaper, especially if you get a family plan. Average data speeds? Sprint also seems to win. And then, if you want to use all the features of "Find my iPhone" and such, you need to blow another $90-$100 a year on MobileMe, when the Pre already has OTA backup, updates, and remote wipe. Battery life seems to have increased quite a bit with Palm's 1.0.3 release, based on a co-worker of mine who updated. I don't own either, but I'm enjoying all the misinformed Apple vs. Palm hate from both sides. Just do a little research outside of the RDF and you'll find this ad isn't that far off.
