Apple has released Java Update 2 for OS X 10.4 or later. The 134 MB update provides improvements to security, performance, and compatibility for Java SE 6, J2SE 5.0, and J2SE 1.4.2. You go through the extensive release notes to learn more about it. Fire up Software Update or grab it from the Apple Support website.

What!! Dont you know your Editor in Chief hates that word ??
Do we need to update this? I dont’ really use any Java applications on my Mac. What does this do exactly?
dont know really but just got it upadted….hope nothing will fall apart:)
