If you’ve got an iPhone, plug it into iTunes and hit that update button. The 2.2.1 update makes its way into iTunes. The update is meant for the iPhones and iPod Touch, so everyone’s included.
This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
- Improved general stability of Safari
- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll
First of all, finally! Safari had been getting real crashy lately, so this update is well timed. Secondly, we’ve talked about the image saving bug, and we’re glad that ordeal is finally over.
Jailbreakers and those who use the iPhone on an unofficial carrier on the other hand are advised to wait until we have word from the dev team. Most probably though, there shouldn’t be any problem.
