Totally agree. The only workaround as I see it is to make an On-The-Go playlist with just 1 podcast episode.

We can get more podcasts on the fly, but the iPod still does not stop after each individual cast. This behavior changed at the 2.1 firmware, and I have heard no one approve of it. Podcasts are not like tunes. Each cast is its own self contained entity not just ‘the next’ thing to play.
Let’s go back to the behavior that did not cause complaints!

All though they do give out free updates (very nice Apple) I’m still waiting on a much improved Safari. What’s the point of having internet access if you can’t do everything the internet offers. Simple things like Java, Flash would be nice. Stop telling us what we cannot do and let us do what we want to.

iPhone 2.2 has been a nice upgrade. Everything is smoother, the UI is better and the podcast downloading is fantastic.

I am glad that apple is continuing to update the firmware, but can they get some priorities straight? Like better integration with exchange calendar invites and some copy paste. I would love to replace my blackberry with an IPhone at work, but these basics need to be provided. Sure Street view is nice, but all its going to do is help me find the soup line if I lose my job because I missed a calendar invite.
