In U.S the iphone 3GS costs you only 99$ but in india you have to pay Rs 35000-40000 that is around 600$. Its way more expensive. The reason behind it is that in india, no phoe is locked to a specific carrier like in U.S. If you buy a fully unlocked phone in U.S it will cost you this price. I think apple should launch locked phones. Then the sale would increase. Iphone is expensive in india.
