I just switched from Tweetie to Twittelator because Twittelator support groups. This is an important feature when your twitter stream gets noisier with too many tweets you don’t really care about. If you use Tweetdeck you’ll know what I mean by how useful it is to categorize tweeps you care about into groups so that there is less tendency to miss their tweets.

Okay Twitterlator Pro seems to be the best twitter client for iPhone/iPod Touch but what about Mac ? I’ve just started Twittering and I hate using browser for twitter, I am looking for a good Twitter Client.

Tweetie 1.3.x allows you to “pick” the link from a tweet as well. However, it only gives you two options – 1. To Repost it or 2. To Add to Instapaper
This is because you can “ReTweeting” and Replying was already there in Tweetie.

Two things that Tweetie doesn’t have is – 1. A list of all your friends to @reply and 2. The Sub-Group feature. Personally, these features do not appeal to me so I’m quite okay with it.

I love Twitterlator Pro!

But…. I use Tweetie too.

I use the “paste” feature the most with Twitterlator and I like have the ability to go back and copy links from previous tweets, open up a new direct message or reply and “paste” the link in.

I also really like the ability to easily add @ replies.

The improvements on 2.0 are significant enough that I find myself suggesting Twitterlator over Tweetie now.
