Just add Air Video Server to your Login items in Accounts in System Preferences. This should do it.

I had to hop on this as soon as I saw it. I didn’t get the eyetv app when it could stream over 3g. So now I have this, with TED its actually way better then the eyetv app. With this and Simplified Media you have almost no reason to put media on the iPhone. BTW you’re the only site that has had a post for this app. Thanks.

Interesting that it supports streaming video over 3G. In the U.S. AT&T has restricted other streaming video applications—other than their built-in YouTube application—to Wi-Fi.

Thanks for the heads up. Immediately bought this, and I’m very impressed! Besides a few gripes, this is quite amazing. Exactly what I want and need. I have over 2 TB of video hooked up to a mac mini on the other side of the country, so this app is absolute heaven to me. Most of it is not iPhone-compatible, and with the ability to adjust the conversion settings, I can find the optimal quality that fits my situation best based upon my Internet, 3G, and CPU speed.

Absolutely brilliant.
