I can see where the appearance is not quite right for the iMac, but I have a Mac Mini, and the keyboard looks absolutely perfect with the glossy black bezel and aluminum case and stand of the HP w-series monitors (I have the w2207).

I have the Logitech DiNovo Mac Edition from the Apple.com store, which I guess we have to call the non-Edge. It is very similar in design, but it lacks the touchpad, and is not Bluetooth but operates on some other frequency. That means you have to use the dongle, and say goodbye to another USB port. Regular AAA batteries, no recharging or recharge stand needed, although of course you can use rechargeable AAA's if you so desire.

Typing on the DiNovo is a real pleasure -- excellent feel, just the right amount of key travel, just the right amount of resistance, just the right amount of tactile feedback. If you're a touch typist, you will absolutely fly with this device.

I've never used hotkeys. Not on PC keyboards, and not even on the MacBook. It's much easier (and faster) for me to hit Cmd+x and then type in iTunes (without looking down) than to actually find where that iTunes key is. Anyway, this is a personal preference (which I was sure to mention).

The hotkeys you think that are a pain to learn come marked on Macbook and Macbook Pro keyboard and are actually much more useful as their functions are actually marked on them. For the laptop users, those hotkeys are much more better to use rather than to learn new shortcuts.

I don't think the design somewhat resembles Mac. It is so .... not Mac! It might match PCs with their not-so-elegant designs (no offense intended, but most of them are!). But come on. This flat, black, square-ish keyboard to be the companion of the iMac? That's a big no for me.

There might be some additional functions embedded to the keyboard. But when I'm on a Mac, I don't think I need them at all. I like something simple, but elegant. Something nice to look at. Something that I don't have to say "Oh my, look at all of those smudges" unto. LOL

Well, sue me of being a minimalist, elegant fan. :).

The functions at the right side of the keyboard are looking sweet, but I don't really like the rest.
That silver stroke, looks like it only wastes it space I use for putting my mouse (I put my mouse in front of my keyboard).
The black part... looks really dirty; like if it keeps every single finger print.

Oh, and where's the numpad ? There's none ! >:{

My thoughts are that logitech starts to commercialize worse products then they used to... I mean, I have 2 Logitech mice (the MX1000 non-revolution ones). They are perfect, and I have never found any equivalent. Just look at the MX-1000 revolution model, it's just crap!
