Everyone’s favourite notebook has got a fresh look as well. The ‘white MacBook’ has now got a unibody shell much like its elder sibling, except this one’s made from polycarbonate instead of anodized aluminum. The new MacBook keeps its pristine look, ridding itself of the black glass that has plastered the face of the MacBook Pros.

Apart from the new look, the new design sports an LED-backlit display, the same long lasting (upto 7 hours) battery that was debuted with the 17-inch MacBook Pro, and a multi-touch trackpad. It comes with the new DisplayPort connector, but loses its FireWire advantage. No SD card slot either.

Running a fast 2.56Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, Nvidia 7400M graphics, all at an amazing $999, Apple has set itself up with an incredible holiday lineup. Check out the MacBook page to see more.
