A friend of mine recently got an iPhone 3G, and was surprised to find there wasn’t a dock included. The dock of course is a $30 affair, which is more like Rs. 1800 in India. Expensive. While it’s next to impossible (not to mention illegal) to print money, it’s apparently super easy to print out your own dock!
French designer Julien Madérou has made himself a neat little paper dock, and offer downloadable PDF template to do it yourself! There’s even a video showing the dock creation in action.

Just a note: I used 65 pound paper and it was still not heavy enough to support my iPhone. Trying 80 pound now…

I dished out 50 CAD for a dock over here. I’m still trying to determine which drugs as I was on at the point.
