For the uninitiated, Apple is hosting a special event, titled ‘Let’s Rock’, tonight at 10:30 PM IST (10:00 AM PT). If you’ve no idea what’s notable about it, i.e. you’re new to all this Apple stuff, you should know that Steve Jobs delivers a two-hour keynote at these events where he announces new products, gives us an idea of which direction the company is heading in, and how successful they’ve been so far.
Frequently referred to as the “rockstar” of the tech industry, he makes these presentations quite a treat, even for those of us who can only witness it vicariously through live-blogs and pictures. There’s really no better way of explaining it than for you to just experience one of these things. So, what are live-blogs anyway? They are textual updates of every word that comes out of El Jobso’s mouth while he’s on the stage and pictures of all the interesting slides he puts up.
