“What would a newspaper look like if it were invented today?” →

A newspaper concept from Bonnier (the guys who designed the Popular Science iPad mag):

The format was developed by several of Bonnier’s daily newspapers along with Bonnier R&D. Readers have also been involved and had their say on the new format during development.

First out is Swedish morning daily Dagens Nyheter with DN+, followed soon by dailies Sydsvenskan and Expressen and business dailies Dagens Industri in Sweden and Børsen in Denmark.

Its look and interaction is more like that of a magazine than a newspaper, but at the same time updates live, like a website.

News+ concept live from Bonnier.

I see “Flash Player 10+ Required,” which is an uncannily accurate representation of how a newspaper would look if it were invented today.

Actually Vimeo serves the h264 video to iOS devices just fine. You need to either disable ClickToFlash, or change your browser agent to be served the same.
