Twitt updated to 1.1 →
Last time I reviewed it, I complained that it didn’t have multiple accounts, and other amenities that make for a usable twitter client. Version 1.1 brings in all that, including official retweet support, while still keeping with its minimal package.
I like its feature set, including the ability to filter tweets, but it’s not enough to sway me away from Tweetie, or for that matter some of the other excellent twitter clients for the Mac. The default UI is too bland for me, and themes just make it worse. I think developers should make the best default theme possible, and then forget about the theming engine they had in mind. You might like Twitt though, and it’s free, so go check it out.

One thing I hate is that the scrollbar stays the same. If an app
is themable, you can’t leave that default ugly scrollbar. It doesn’t fit the themes.
Personally, I’m now using itsy. It’s minimalism as it’s best. I wish it had profile views and “in reply to” built-in though. Maybe in an update.
