Tweetie 1.1 fills in a lot of gaps →
The new update brings in a whole lot of new features making Tweetie the reigning champion on the Mac (along with its iPhone companion). Here’s a few of my favourites from the changelog:
- Saved Searches
- Img.ly and Pix.im support
- Remember Last selected Tab per account
- Improved error handling
- Per account notification preferences, including support for Growl
My only complaint is that the ‘Selected Tweet’ colour is now a hideous dark blue.

That, and the awful red notification circle must go (or at least be optional).
You can change your notification settings. Just go to the Accounts tab and change notification settings for each twitter account. I’ve kept the awful red circle on for direct messages.
Agree with you on the selected tweet colour. It was perfect before, i don’t know why he had to change it. Great update otherwise.
