UI Designer Tim Van Damme, like many of us, is tired of how outdated the iTunes Store UI looked:
Sometimes, the best way to refuel yourself is by working on something that will never see the light of day. A couple of weeks back, I did just that when I realized how outdated the iTunes Store interface looked. I spend 4 evenings on this, and don’t regret a single minute of it.
While I’m not sure whether Tim’s design is the best way to go (beautiful as it may be), Apple definitely needs to make the store more usable.

I’m an Apple fan, but all these folks who have nothing better to do than mockup new Apple products take fanboyism to an unhealthy extreme.
