Editor Kahney quickly retracted the entire post, and replaced it with an apology. If you missed it, no sweats, Anshu Chimala’s brilliant parody carries with it the very essence of the original:

Can be useful aye? So I suppose you wouldn’t mind if someone figured out how to syphon your ad dollars directly from the revenue of your sight? I mean really, to come out and say that you support piracy adds a layer of sleaze to your sight.

This post links to a parody on the Cult of Mac article encouraging piracy. If you seriously thought I wanted to encourage people to break into Apple stores and steal computers while killing employees, you need to get yourself a textbook on sarcasm.
