I don’t personally know any pro photographers who use Aperture, it’s just not good enough. Lots of enthusiasts though because it’s 33% cheaper than Lightroom.
Dave K: Not only because of the price, but also the interface. While I’m sure Lightroom is a excellent program, I personally cannot stand the workflow and the interface. I find it to be complex, confusing and inflexible. I presume it must be excellent if you prefer the workflow Lightroom suggests, but if you don’t then it’s really annoying.
I am, for one, really happy with this upgrade. It improves exactly on the areas that I wanted a little improvement. (And: it was about damn time! We waited long for this one.)
